Leaning Rock Therapies was formed in 2022 by Angela & Paul Summersgill to offer holistic health and well-being support to people in the Central Otago and Queenstown-Lakes region.
Angela and Paul each have over 35 years experience of working with people, in the UK, Australia and Aotearoa supporting change and promoting healing. Having relocated to Nelson at the end of 2024, they are delighted to be offering their services to people living in the Nelson/Tasman and Marlborough regions.

Angela integrates her passion for traditional healing practices into her Therapy work for ACC with people who have experienced rape or sexual assault.

Paul is a registered Social Worker with ACC and qualified Reflexologist with a keen interest in nutrition and mindfulness practices.

Are you feeling spiritually, mentally, physically or socially lost? Are you in pain, anxious, overwhelmed, unable to ‘switch off ‘, exhausted, depressed? Do you feel like your emotions and impulses are out of control?

Reaching out for support is the ‘best first step’ you can take to reclaim your health and innate power to heal.

The exchange for sessions is on a sliding scale as follows: Reflexology : $70-$100 per hour Private Therapy Clients : $70-$100 per hour Koha Clinics coming soon to ensure that financial limitations are not a barrier to you accessing your well-being path

There is no charge for ACC Clients who meet the criteria for Sensitive Claims Come and have a chat with Angela if you’re not sure about the eligibility criteria Paul can offer a mobile service for Reflexology, meaning you can benefit from having your treatment at home There is an additional charge for this which can be discussed on a case by case basis depending on your location
